It all began with an idea … and a passion
I grew up in a small, rural Wisconsin town where I learned to craft and sew. During the travels over the past 10 years with my family, looking at all the souvenir apparel in the shops, I found my passion in creative design and apparel. What added to my excitement even more was that my husband was also developing the passion. We joined in the journey together. My husband has lived here his entire life and I have lived in Pardeeville since 2001. We can’t imagine living anywhere else.
We started designing and pressing shirts as a hobby. We received so many positive responses and had so much fun with it. We loved to see the excitement and reactions to the creations and products. We craved more.
We started to investigate the opportunity, some ideas and the different technologies. We started to think of names. The Village of Pardeeville has a sign entering town that says “City of Lakes” and I was always on the water that summer so we knew water had to be involved. We also have a love of dogs - so Lake Dog Apparel was formed!

Currently, Lake Dog Apparel is just my husband and I. We operate out of our home, working evenings after our full-time jobs and weekends. We always strive for perfection in creating your design. I am still learning design as I go and love to find new challenges! Our dream is to one day leave our current jobs and have a shop of our own, located in downtown Pardeeville.

We do not have a minimum order quantity or set up fees. Need 1 shirt? Not a problem! We offer quick turnaround times with all of our products. From start to finish, we are in communication with you. We will send you a proof as we design to make sure it is the idea you have in mind. I am a perfectionist at heart – so if things aren’t quite right, I’ll happily make the adjustments to make sure your experience with us far exceeds your expectations.
Our livelihood comes from custom apparel orders for businesses, youth groups and schools. Our passion consists of bringing your vision to life. If you have an idea, we want to hear it! We were recently contacted by a young lady very late on a Monday night. She had a shirt her dad wore from when she was a kid that she wanted to recreate with her kids picture. We talked with her on Tuesday morning and started the process. By Wednesday afternoon we let her know that her order was completed and ready to pick up. She was ecstatic! Everywhere else told her they couldn’t make it happen.
